Flood Basement Clean up

When a pipe bursts while a family sleeps in a Tujunga, CA home, water seeped through the floor into their basement below, causing the ceiling to collapse.  When the family awoke to this disaster, they called SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale for help. After assessing the damage, we began extracting the standing water in the basement. Next, SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale placed high-powered fans and dehumidifiers to dry as much of the wet materials as possible. SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale then removed the damaged ceiling drywall and cleaned the entire area with disinfectant. After drying the clean wood framing, the family was ready for a contractor to complete the job!
